You should try a little bit of everything. Meet up with some college students in your town that are majoring in music or music theory. Most of these kids teach, and tutor for a bunch of different instruments to earn money--imagine having that as a part time job?

It's an easy and fun way to learn a new instrument, and meet new friends.

Good luck!

I cannot think of any instruments other than piano and violin. My bad sorry.

Guitar.

a violin.

omg i love piano!!! im grade 7.
try guitar??

drums

harmonica. it only takes a few weeks to master

drum or gutar

Cymbals

No practice needed!

Personally, I prefer playing an organ.

tuba

How about guitar? It's fun, fairly easy, and portable. Plus, girls love it! :)

Tuba

Piano

There's nothing more cliche than guitar.

try Guitar

any instrument you feel like playing, as long as you practice enough

how about the mandolin

Drums

: )

the ladies dig a guy that plays guitar.

guitar!! but its harder than piano just to let you know.(i play both) but its an awesome instrument!!

aww u should stick with piano. i kinda regret stopping.

if u have good rhythm, drums is the best

i heard guitar is easy, but callouses are a murder

above all if u feel you're inadequate, the kazoo is always there for u

drums because you can learn alot and they are fun to play well that is my opinion.

I play the flute, piano, and guitar. If you don't have time to practice, you might want to take voice lessons, because you can practice singing anywhere, anytime.

Well, if you want to make it easier on yourself, maybe try the violin because the notes, like the piano, are written in Treble Clef.

If you want to go a completely other way, look into a band instrument like the trumpet or flute. (Both difficult to play. You have to hold your mouth a certain way.)

Percussion is also an option.

Sometimes you have to try out several different things before you find something you like and want to stick with.

I, myself am an accomplished violist.

My heart is with sax, violin, guitar as well as the piano which you have already tried.

Time is the crucial factor for any instrument. A piano lacks portability, so is only available to be played when you are with it. Try a harmonica. Goes anywhere. Always in tune. Zero upkeep.

try the clarinet its the easiest instrument to play, its the beginner band instrument, if thats to hard switch to the recorder, if its to easy try the saxophone

If you love music, why limit yourself to just one instrument?

Learn as many as you can fit into your lifetime.

Try out the different families: percussion, wind, reed, strings... see which instrument you really connect with and start with that one.

But whatever you do, don't limit yourself to just one instrument!

Myself? If I had the money for lessons and/or the patience to teach myself, I'd first learn drums (still kind of working on that) and then violin.

Go back to the piano and learn that first. If you have time for Y!A you can make time for something you know you really wanna do!

I'm a sucker for anyone who can play the piano well. I've found most other people are, too. The piano is one of the easiest instruments to learn to play with the guitar as a close second. Guitars are cool as well, I think a well-played Electric Guitar sounds so cool. Either of these would probably be your best bet, unless you can think of another instrument that YOU feel would suit you personality. (I don't know you, so I couldn't give you information much more specific than that)
Regardless of the instrument, practice is important; daily practice is best. If you are unwilling or unable to put in the time to learn to play an instrument, there's not much sense in taking it up until you CAN put in the time.
Best of luck to you in your musical endeavors .
