What do you do when your significant other is mad at you?!

Question: How do you get them to not be mad at you anymore?

Answers: How do you get them to not be mad at you anymore?

i'd tell you, but this is a family show

Guilt trips always work. =)

Tell him I'm going to leave him for good or....you know the rest...

Give them some space. Then if it was my fault apologize. Talk to them about it.

They will cool off in time. Just give it time.

Cop an attitude and mke him feel guilty for being mad in the 1st place and eventually apologize to me.

try and talk. if that doesn't work, leave him the hell alone...he usually comes around. he likes me too much to be gone too long!

just go in another room he allways gets over it soon and comes back and talks

i appologize even if its not my fault...i am paranoid like that.

I just stay away from him till he gets over it. Hes rarely mad at me....so thats good. Its usually me mad at him.*

a kiss? a hug? a chocolate cake with - i care - on it? puppy eyes? you can have the remote control? gift voucher? or just turn the whole thing around and pretend that you're the one so upset and mad that you can't even look into their face.

I say SHUT UP before I travel to another dimension!

Nothing. He will get over it eventually.

keep quiet.......it will blow over soon enough..........

first and most important let them cool down, if they are mad at you.

give him the silent treatment or kill him with kindness. works every time! but i'm always right, too so that helps. :)

Tell him to scratch his hiney and get glad..lol

Tell him I am sorry and I do not want to fight, life is short and if something was to happen I would not want it to happen with us in this situation. I love him and think it is better to be happy then to wast time being upset over the small stuff! Give him kisses and get it out of the way

I feed her, or tell her to go fishing.
If that doesnt work, I buy her a six pack of Coors light.

She doesnt get mad at me often.

Take some time away, go for a walk, something, they'll come around and want to talk, at least that's the best thing t odo.

Go to the bar and get laid. Kidding.

nothing i just ride out the bad mood and we get on with life, he never is mad for long and he is usually made at someone else not me and just tends to take it out on me because I'm the one who is near by so i get the wrath and just go for a bumpy ride

guilt trip and rub it in and tell them how i feel over and over again

I keep talking...she gets quiet.

Get out of the house and bring back some flowers

He has to talk it out or he just stays that way, so I try to get him talking, usually in several tries.

I just give him some space and later we talk about the situation and why he got mad. It doesn't happen with us much, we rarely argue.

My significant other an I don't get mad at each other, we don't yell, we don't fight, we've never even exchanged a harsh word. So if he were to get mad at me??? I would probably sit down and cry.
