I wasn't allowed to watch Roseanne or the Simpsons. I still don't watch the Simpsons to this day b/c I just never got into it.

Well Im still growing up but, same here not allowed to watch simpsons. Im also not allowed to get a cell phone or date until im 16 and im not allowed to watch csi. : (

There are so many things that I wasn't allowed to do. I still choose not to do many of them. They were bad choices then and haven't improved any.

I wasn't allowed to watch PG-13 movies till I was 13, and no R movies till I was 18. We did watch the Simpsons and Roseanne though. Those shows were honest bits of life and I can't believe any parent wouldn't allow them. There was no swearing, sex or violence.

I was never allowed to sleep over at friends' houses, which was a bummer because my best friend always had a slumber party for his birthday every year and I always had to leave early.
