She's not going to care which flowers in particular that you buy, as long as you buy her some! I'd love it if my husband went and picked a handful of wildflowers instead, actually! That takes a lot more work and thought. I used to work with a lady whose husband, every summer morning before she went to work, would go outside and pick her a daisy. Now, that's sweet!

Women appreciate any type of flowers, but if they are for a special occasion, try to choose some that will`fit in` with the occasion. For example, recently I sent flowers to a couple for their Ruby wedding anniversary, I chose a bouquet made up of different flowers which were all coloured ruby/dark red. Choose an assorted bunch of really bright colour-full flowers, she will love them.

Roses are always a winner. But why not do a selection of flowers such as Oriental Lilies, large-headed Roses, Germini, Lisianthus, and Gypsophila plus folded Aspidistra leaves.

My husband got me something that was very similar and it was beautiful and they lasted a whilem and that is always important
