haha yeah. i went to the extreame and stuck the themometer under some hot water so it said i had like 100 and my mom made me stay home haha. i just was too tired to get up and learn

Quite the opposite; I am actually the sort of person who wouldn't shut down his schedule for anything, meaning I'd show up as scheduled DESPITE illness--not the wisest thing in some industries, let me warn you. It's not like me to use illness for a ruse.

yeah i used to do it at school, college and i still do it at work! i'm a serial skiver! hehe!! i usually use the excuse of having a bad curry the night before making me sick all night... then i say if i feel better i'll try and get in work in the afternoon but i never do lol!

I did at school all the time and if my Mum didn't believe me I'd just go to my sister's work and stay with her all day! I just never liked school which is really silly when I think of it now because I had loads of friends and did enjoy it when I actually went! xx

Oh yes!! My husband used to work all over the country, and if he was going somewhere by the sea, I used to call in sick, and go and spend the day with him. I really loved travelling with him, and seeing different parts of the country! As I was really overworked and underpaid in that particular job, I looked on it as a bonus day off, and felt that I deserved it. I do naturally suffer badly from migraine, and so a migraine was often my excuse!!
