Was it the end of the world for you when you found out you got knocked up?!

Question: I find it ironic that someone with the name one night stand is even asking this question...PLEASE.....and no it wasn't the end of the world and I don't believe I called it "being knocked up".

No.
Nope!!

Was married and ready to start a family!
<knock on wood>...hasn't happened...8 yrs going strong.
no
nope but if i do get knocked up...it will be
For my 1st and 4th pregnancy I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
No it was the beginning of my new life.
NO
to my mother..she forced me to get an abortion at 19
Well i have never been knocked up but im sure that when (and if) you have the kid, your world would have just begun. not ended.
Maybe not the end of the world, but certainly the end of life as you know it. Life will never be the same...
yeah, pretty much - twice, but I'm thankful now for my two kids - got rid of the breeder though.
No, not really....I'm a bloke and if i get knocked up I'm phoning the news of the world...mega bucks.
Just a miscarriage and for the better. Much easier than being a parent at the time. Spared me a difficult decision about our future.
It would be because my hubby has had a vasectomy.
NO.
calling it knocked up is a bad sign buddy
I have never yet been knocked up,,,,but I am still willing to try it again.
no i was actually alright about it but i was only 17 i was stupid but now im 29 and i wouldnt change my kids for the world
No. It did prove to be the end of my medical school goals, and an alteration in many aspects of my life...including having money to spend any way I wanted...but now my kids are adults, I've still got a couple of classes to go for two different Master of Arts degrees...maybe I'll become a doctor by PhD.

Would I change my life? Probably not - my oldest has been my reason for getting up in the morning, my best friend and my harshest critic for 30 years. I wouldn't be who and what I am today without her. Of course, I wouldn't be who and what I am today if I had given her up way back when, either. C'est la vie.
well when tht happenes and the boy usually lives it is like the end of the world. ive even had one of my friends go suicidle
no, just a reality check. I learned that was the screwin' I get for the screwin' I got :)
yeah some women dont consider it knocked up! and the answer is NO i was extremely happy when i found out that i was going to be a mother!

i think the question your looking for is " Were you scared when you found out that you got someone knocked up? "!!
i thought i had once, and it was the end of the world

until i found out the pregnancy test was wrong
and it hadn't made sense cuz i hadn't done anything in two months, but blah, it was the end of the world for me
It nearly was when I thought I might be...but I wasn't so it's all good :)
That hasn't happened yet!!!
I never got 'knocked-up' but I sure have gotten pregnant.

The first time was when I was 19 but I had a miscarriage before I even knew I was pregnant.

Then when I was 20 I got pregnant again by my boyfriend. I did feel like it was the end of the world certainly as I knew it! I looked with great envy at other girls my age who were NOT pregnant.

I was no where near ready to have a baby and if I did carry the baby to full term I would never have been able to give it up!

So the best soultion for me was abortion way back when abortion was illegal. I went a doctor in the very sleazy part of town and with no pain killers what so ever, the doctor scrapped the fetus out of me while yelling at me to shut up as I screamed out in pain!!!

I had no sex education back then about using birth control and how very easy it is to get pregnant even with just one occurance of intercourse.
Nope. The world ended 7 months later when my kid died and everyone told me to "just get over it".
No, I was married. It was a change as I had a full scholarship to Nursing School, but got so sick I had to quit. They welcomed me back after I delivered my son, but I had discovered I really didn't like blood or touching sick people. I was much happier as a Florist.
