Question: Yes, my Daddy and it was a relief for me when he went because he was suffering so bad. He had been "asleep" for about a week when he finally just quit breathing quietly.
I also seen one of my parent's puppies die once and that was horrible also. He was gasping for air...man it was horrible. I remember sitting there petting him telling him it's ok, it's ok and the whole time tears were coming out.
