To the non smokrs are you glad that people dont smoke in the pub now?!

Question: No thats not what the pubs about

Answers: No thats not what the pubs about
absolutely, i look forward to going out now, instead of dreading the awful stink on my clothes and hair when i come home
Yes, clean, fresh air! Wonderful!
My mum died of lung cancer brought on by secondary smoking (according to her specialist) so the smoking ban would have saved her if it had been brought in earlier.
of course...I can't stand the smell of smoke!
like smokers can ever quit.....anything! ugh
Yes, it makes a nice change to come home NOT stinking like an ashtray.
No. It makes the place stink of peoples body odor instead of smoke and I preferred the smoke.
Just incase you thought i might be a smoker, im not.
a bit considering i have Asthma and chronic bronchitis. smoke makes my breathing worse.
yes I am
I appreciate no smoking in restaurants. Even if there was a smoking section I could still smell it while eating.
Yes
Yes - I gave up years ago and never minded other people smoking in pubs etc but now I am on oxygen if I do ever get go to a pub or to dine out it would be very dangerous for everybody if somebody tried to light up near me.
Yes, cause I have asthma, and have a hard time with breathing That's the only reason for me.
I'm allergic to tobacco smoke, so I'm very grateful that more and more places are smoke-free. (When I'm around tobacco smoke, my throat gets very sore, I develop a bad cough, and I get laryngitis.)
Approaching 2 years of the fags,, feeling GR8
Yes, I had been waiting for that since forever, because now I won't have to leave the club smelling like cigarettes. Which stinks really bad. So I am super happy.
good heavens- please get OVER the banned smoking questions! and get on with your life realising that nobody likes smokers around them. Why don't you quit and live a heathier life? There's a concept!
I have to say, I am. I feel sorry for them, I'm not at all sure the law is fair; but there are so many places I can go now that would have been difficult for me before.

Not just pubs, of course: cafes too.
Yes, because I don't smell of smoke if I go out for a drink and I can breathe properly in pubs now!
If I said "Are you glad the black people aren't allowed in the pub anymore", how would you feel about that?

Think about it.
No, I'm a non smoker and my local pub is only half of what it was. I think this smoking ban is a complete nonsense. It'll put pubs out of business. It'll also put the price of a pint up too. As a non-smoker, if I feel that way about smoking, then I could always go and drink in family section of Wetherspoons if I don't like it.

Also the cleanliness outside pubs is getting worse because there's cigarette butts everywhere. Whereas before you has a bartender going round emptying the ashtrays every hour, now you have days of dogends scattered outside the pub.
Never mind the pubs. I work in a bingo hall and do some calling and it's nice not seeing a layer of smoke between the customers and the ceiling.
Do you think anybodies going to say "I miss the smoke!"
Hi I have severe Asthma & bronchitis and it is really good to be able to go in pubs without it aggrivating breathing problems. Also when eating no smell of smoke and your clothes and do not smell of smoke,
The only thing is a lot of people sit outside of pubs now so that they can smoke so the pubs aren't as full as before.
of course! i think its alot safer and takes a load off your shoulders! yay no more 2nd hand smoke! LOL! :D
