Answers: I have a laptop and use a desktop at work.....same difference but the laptop you can take anywhere.............for those who say they can't used to the mouse............just simply buy a remote mouse for your laptop........had mine 3 years and it is brilliant!!! though it does use quite a few batteries.

i've got both.........
but i'll advice you to have a laptop instead of a pc because in this era of nanotechnology every thing has become compact and more versatile too.
laptops are good example for this.

desktop - easier internet and loads stuff easier , takes less time to turn on
but also freezes

laptop- easier msn and stuff
cant get the hang of the mouse
hurts ma knee!!
