Answers: I connected it, but it won't respond. I clicked on the select and menu botton but it won't do anything. It won't switch songs or anything, it's just frozen. Please help. dont say reset it because it wont appear when i connect it.

Same thing happened to me. I called customer service and they said the only way to resolve this issue is to reset the ipod to its factory setting. This would erase everything from your ipod so make sure you have a back up of all songs/videos on itunes.

Edit: If it won't show up, you'll just have to let the battery die out.
