first off, i want to say, my husband is in iraq. and my best friend's husband is leaving next thursday. anyway, i hate that i only hear about britney and her weight gain and loss of her children. big frigging deal! so she's a bad mom, she's not the only one in the world, right? and miss paris hilton too...luckily she HASN'T been in the news lately. she probably FINALLY grew up. anyhoo...about our troops, the news only report the bad things. they don't make it known that thanks to our troops women are finally able to walk down the street in iraq without being raped or killed. many schools have opened for the iraqi children and people aren't as afraid as they once were. anyway, those are a few things. i know a lot of good things have happened to that country, and it's sad that we don't get to hear the good news. just the bad ones.

there's plenty of news out there...they just report what people want to hear...so it's not the media. besides, there's plenty of news for you to watch/read. unless your car is constantly tuned to talk radio or some am news station, and your television permenantly on the news channel, the bathroom filled with newspapers and a library full of books, then there is more news out there than you can handle.

Amen to that. I'm so sick of all the dumb celebrity news. Who cares about what stupid stunt they pull? They're not part of my life. But the troops and the war going on should be on more. There are everyday people....neighbors, relatives, etc. fighting this war and the public should be aware of what kind of hell they are living in...not just fighting, but everyday life.

I don't know about you but its depressing to know that we still haven't brought our troops home yet! and any news we get wont be good (cuz it hasn't been so far) but the Brittany news is pritty juicy and I want more of that. It just brings a smile to my face to know that she's been falling on hers SPLAT!
Sweet ...sweet revenge when I see someone as famous as her having this many issues with everyday life. Makes me feel normal that she's not the perfectly filthy rich pop star anymore now she's all fat and lousy and I LOVE IT!!!!!
