Second Hand Stores (thrift stores) - Because you can get some fantastic deals on things from clothes to gym equipment. It takes some time to weed through the cruddy stuff, but often times there are lightly or never before used items and you're recycling!


Trader Joe's- Nothing quite like fantastic, fresh, fair trade orgainic food. PERIOD. (oh and , it's cheap!)


Farmer's Markets- Great places to find pretty much anything! It's fantastic for local wines, or products from foods to picture frames to designer handbags!


Target- Even though it's still in that "evil empire" genre of economical tyranny, they also give a lot of money back to society unlike wal-mart, ect., and have great sales.


Used book stores- great deals on otherwise expensive books, and they have a certain history and personal appeal that brand new books lack.

5) Tully's Coffee (the Starbuck's of Japan)

Well im actually in Okinawa, Japan so here goes...

1. Uniqlo (Its a Japanese Gap)
2. Hamby Town (2 story depeartment type store with everything a person could need)
3. Jusco ( The same as Hamby Town)
4. The military BX & PX- everything you need-but very predictable when thousands are wearing your exact same outfit.
5.Naval Kadena (complete shopping center with clothing, furniture, and DIY home & garden stores)
