This is crazy! Would you do this for a friend?!
Question: My neighbor came by and told me about his best friend was being questioned by the cops for taking the air out of someone's tires and what he was doing on a certain night. The guy said he was with a lady all night but he couldn't think up a name and the cops got suspicious. He has to go back tomorrow for more questioning. Well my neighbor is going to go talk to the cops and tell them he was with him all night and they were having sex all night and that's why he couldn't think of a name because he was embarrased and didn't want to tell them he was with a guy. My neighbor of course made this all up but he's going to go tell the cops this wild story (which probably won't even help him but he's convinced it will).
Would you go that far for a friend?

That is nuts - If he gets caught in the lie they will charge him for filing a false statement - which is way worse then the criminal mischief for the tire deal - Also, the sex thing is strange.
Wouldn't be a good idea, the truth always comes out. Just have him go talk to the cops and tell them he was scared and made it up.
Its a small town where I am lol so NO I would never say that or do that for a friend. I mean maybe if he/she was being accused of murder or something but air in a tire he wont be in jail long, if at all!
