for a alcoholic,My friend in the Army who lived near Canada told me if you get Molsen Ice from Canada that the alcohol level is way higher.So get him a 12 pac of Canadian.Back when I was a lush I would have loved that.

Yes. If they are 21 and older. And if that is their favorite beer. And if they are male (generally, women don't like beer as a birthday gift). Personally, I don't like Molsen beer especially the ice kind and I'd get them Heineken or Corona instead! Also, spring for a 24 pack. A 12 pack is kinda cheapy. And you it'd be cool to throw in maybe one of those insulated beer holders (forgot what they were called), a Playboy or Maxim and the newest Sports Illustrated, and some sort of snack (chips and salsa, maybe?) and don't forget the b.day card!
