i have a backup generator.
enough to power the computer or the TV.
really depends on who wins the couch-potato contest.
if remote-rambo wants the TV, we may have to take it in turns.
i'd cope without YA for a day or two, but not without my email.

I might go out more & talk to the zombies of Norwich (they never answer, can not talk, a lot of them work for Norwich City Council ?).
May be more shopping, watching TV

I did, I think it was last year. The electricity was off for about 5 days I think. Part of it I stayed some where else but why I was at home we lighted the house with loads of candles, used a portable gas fire to heat the house, used the gas oven to cook and I used my laptop running on battery power and a dial up connection if I needed the internet.

well if the powercut affected my whole house,id stay somewhere else til they fixed it.if it was just the computer loss i too would get more done around the house,thats why i try limit myself to smaller lenghts of time 3-4 times over the day,nites are better for me..ive havent been on for 3 days(i was sick)and it was a great pleasure to check as i had some BA and i missed lots of ppl...cheers..

yes the thing that would bother me is the food going rotten in the freezer hell if it were winter i just stick it out side then it would probably get knicked anyways, yes i've lived in power cut situation before its great fun but not for the elderly frighten people living on there own it isn't.

I would cope. I have many things I could do. I have lived without Y!A before and I will be able to live without it again.... once the withdrawal symptoms are over. LOL
