Answers: Click on My Fans,
Hover the mouse over the person's avatar until a popup appears,
Click on Remove Contact in the popup window.

You will be returned to the My Fans window and will still see their avatar for now. You can again hover the mouse over the avatar but don't click it. You'll get another popup.
This time, you can see two options in the popup, Add user (in case you didn't really mean to delete them) and Block User (which prevents the person from tracking you or your Qs and As).

Got to your fans list and place your curser on the one you want removed and it will ask you "remove contact" say hell yes!

go to their profile and click "block User" they will be removed

you have to remove them from your contacts, that removes them from your fan list too
