Do you ever regift your childs halloween candy?!

Question: I know, I had pretty rotten parents.

Answers: I know, I had pretty rotten parents.
LOL, no I cant say I have ever done that. Of course, I have no children of my own, but I have a 7 year old Goddaughter I spend Halloween with.

What I DO tend to do is have two sets of candy: The good stuff I give to the little kids who come to the door with their parents, in great Halloween costumes, and another bowl of what I call "crap candy" which we give to the groups of teenagers who prowl the neighborhoods with pillowcases and slapped-together costumes. They work the street, end to end, switch costumes with each other and work their way back down the street again. This is Arizona, so we tend to hang out in the driveway Halloween night to give neighborhood kids the treats. The teens come in from other towns, because the neighborhood my goddaughter's parents live in is a fairly affulent one.

Some of the crap candy I stock up on? Within walking distance of my place is a Mexican Carniceria (Grocery store) and they stock some of the absolute NASTIEST (but unharmful) candy you've ever heard of. RedHots, mulitcolored marshmallow candy, they even have tabasco Lollipops!

Of course, the teens don't realize they got crap candy until they get it home and then its late to figure out who gave it to them.
Another old trick I like at Halloween. Go tot he store and buy JUST a bag of apples and a package of razorblades and see if the cashier notices. If she does, I ask her on a date. Tee Hee. Report It

thats a pretty bad christmas present, unless you really loved sweets...
no he "works" for that candy that's just plain mean that's his i do go through it and make sure its all safe but we trick or treat at churchs and things so most of it is
That's terrible, I would never..."Honey, where did we store the candy from last Hallowen"?
    That's just so wrong...
I always had them set aside what they didn't like for me to eat.
    no
no i eat them and then the ones i dont like just throw them away
No, that is too tacky!!It is not gift worthy, and most parents have too much anyway after 10/31... My kids are little weirdos:-) they don't like candy that much, it's more about the door to door mission than the reward.. One year I donated it to the food shelter here (coincided with a food drive) Last year I ended up bringing it to work and it was gone in record time..Sorry about your parents!!
