I went to the co-op yesterday and bought some plumbs, but they are a little hard,!

Question: What can I do to get my plumbs soft?

Answers: What can I do to get my plumbs soft?
It sounds like your plumbs aren't very Co Operative, it ASDA be said.
When my missus, Tess, Goes shopping, she selects my plumbs very carefully, rolling each one between her thumb and forefinger, ensuring they are in prime condition and ready to eat.
She does this Alldays, as I give her bad Marks otherwise.
If I'm feeling particularly fruity, I send her to Sainsberries, as I feel you can't beat a good old nibble at home.
In the case of your plumbs, I think you'll just have to wait and see what comes up ;-)
Soak them
Sit on 'em.
Get them to take up knitting.
I always thought plumbs sold sofa covers to pensioners!
Hi Mercia, try keeping them next to your bananas. They ripen faster.
give it a few days but keep your eye on them they will soften :D
put them in water
Put them on a board and soften them up with a steak tenderising mallet.
Don't buy them from the coop. I'm honestly surprised that they weren't mouldy and fermenting before you left the shop because service standards at the coop seem to incorporate a minimum 20 minute waiting time. They could serve you quicker if they just hired some trained sloths!
Put your plums in a brown paper bag on the windowsill overnight and that should soften them up.
Place them on my wooden chopping board and I'll have a go at them with my wooden steak tenderiser. It works wonders on meat that is still a little icy from the freezer. I'm sure your plumbs would soften in an instant.
you have the picked up the wrong PLUMS the plumbs you have belong to bob,lol
Try your hand at plumb jam?
Well that's the trouble with fruit nowadays .It is treated with so many preservatives that it either takes an age to ripen or goes mouldy first.
You could try spelling them correctly for a start - that will help them get nice and ripe ! ! !
what a fruity question, try riding a bicycle on a cobbled road. it ought to soften them but might make them swell.
Your happy mood should rippen anything. hahaha

You spelt plum with a b maybe you need a plumber lol
just leave them for a couple of days and they will soften
