Shouldn't the girls who would be on..???!

Question:

Shouldn't the girls who would be on..???

to catch a predator be held somewhat responsible for what happens to them?? i mean if it were real those girls who r 12 n 13 online go onto web site n r tryin 2 find sex n invite the person to come n see them how is it ALL the guys fault? i dont get that?

im not tryin 2 defend the predators but i just think the girl shouldnt be considered 100% the victim in this case what do u think??

Answers: A sexual predator uses their knowledge and manipulates them to give more than they would normally give

Teenagers are easily manipulated - especially if they think they will be more popular etc. Because they are young it is easy for them to make mistakes.

I think that you may be right in some instances, but this is probably a very small percentage - we need to protect the 99% of girls who are not aware of other peoples evil intent there is a certain element of entrapment to that show. However, in real life situations I would say that for the most part it is the predator that intitiates the sexual conversation and the young girl is ignorantly "safe" behind the computer screen thinking he will never find her... yes they are 12 and 13 and dont fully think of wat the actions gonna be. A grown man knows he shouldnt be looking for young girls. Because, A) They are not real girls. They are actors involved in a police sting, and B) even if they were real girls, they wouldn't have committed a crime. They are children, and if you read the chatlogs on Perverted Justice, the decoys never initiate sex talk. It's always the man who does it. They only respond. Your question doesn't make any sense. It is illegal for an adult to solicit a minor for sex, not the other way around. they say its because of the girls age, that they are too young and immature, to legally decide for themselves if sex is really what they want. besides, the men know its wrong, they are encouraging these young girls, just to serve their own immoral and improper "needs" I think the girls are punished to a certain extent like no more Internet privileges. How ever teens are curious Internet or not and it is not their fault if they get seduced by a perv. The parents should have parental blocking of some kind on the computer. 12,13 year old girls are naive. Its called contributory act.
But the guys should alwez be aware and alert that its statutory rape even if the girl consented...
better beware & stay away then 'for the fun/stupidity of the moment'!! Yes, there are such things as entrapment. Temptation is strong and sometimes you really should not wave a steak in front of a lion. It is important to be realistic in these matters, if a woman went into the street and laid down on her back exposing herself do you really think that some guy is going to think, I gotta grab this oppourtunity for no strings attached romp with this hot girl who is bold enough to do this random thing??? Guys are way into adventure and one guy is going to think, GERONIMO!!! and dive in...hehe...I dont know if its testosterone but doing something taboo or different is definitely a temptation so setting someone up like that is wrong. I do not support the criminal act but I also do not like the idea of entraping someone by tempting them with this type of bait...-Rachel. If you want to blame someone blame the parents for allowing these kids online access without parental controls or supervision. What irritates me the most is hearing parents say they didn't know. Children shouldn't have a computer in their own room if it's not parental controlled or block out certain sites and chat rooms. Predators look for easy marks such as a kid who is looking for acceptance and attention.
