And no I dont think they did. 97 cents is the cheapest i remember but it's always been self serve... and i never have heard of a bonus gift with fill up.. yes yes, but once i didnt pay, because they put gasoline, then i forgot my wallet, so they made me clean the cars of the others in order to pay...
Fortunately i crashed the car, so no more gasoline, the next i ll buy will not work with gasoline 76 cents per gallon and yes those amenities were included i remember when gas was bout $.89 a gallon. boy, thoose were the days and soo long gone. never see that again. and you could get all that other stuff done at certain private gas stations. .98 cents, and you did it yourself. No gift, but you could clean your window for free it was 10 pence ,per litre thats around 4 us cents ,now its 16 pences thats around 11 cents now due to exchange rates.relatively u can say cheap ,for an oil producing country Gas was 25 cents/gallon when I was 16 and they always checked the oil, tires and cleaned the windshield. I don't remember a bonus gift, but then I guess as a teen I probably never filled up. $1.00 worth of gas would get me through the weekend. My Dad actually owned a Gulf station that eventually turned into a Chevron. I remember gas being about .87 cents a gallon at one point. It may have been cheaper, but that's the price I remember. He did have a full service side also and they would check tires, check under the hood, and clean the windshields. Gas on the full service side cost a little higher though. 42/cent a litre. Sorry we don't go bye gallons in Canada
