Answers: i guess i never really noticed until now, besides in the song Hollaback Girl. but that is really ridiculous. bananas isnt even an adjective! So true. I don't see it, are bananas crazy? Personally, I think it's kinda cute, but becoming overused. What, are you Nuts? I know...it drives me bana...er, bonkers...er, CRAZY! I think it's just another polite way to say the pickle has slipped off your sandwich. Hey now don't go bananas on me...

It is a bit strange... How did we come to using a fruit as an expression of craziness? Aye. What is up with lingo? i guess with our political system u need many synonyms 4 crazy, and clocks dont make that many diff sounds (cukoo?) and y not food (nuts bananas)
