Question:

Grrrr - how did this come to symbolise anger in written form ?

Answers: It symbolises the growl of a predatory animal which is used as a warning to others, as a sign of aggression, or to express anger. (It's known as an Onomatopoeic Word, which is a word that imitates the sound it's describing). lol ha ha ha mmmm. Don't know, how else could it be done. AAAArrrrgggg maybe. because anything else will get us a violation Is it meant to represent the noise of an angry animal like a Tiger or Lion! i have no idea but my guess is this is the phoentically spelt word of the noise animals to either warn of other animals or before they kill their prey.

well thats what i'm thinking anyway... Oouch! and ... your guess is good as mine It is onomatopoeic word representing a growling sound.
