Do you think it is better for a Christian to admit his/her shortcomings...?
or to pretend like their thought life is always pure?
Just had some guy PM me about my profile and tell me different scriptures, and say "How can you have a dirty mind and be a Christian?" I've read through the bible several times, and I am the first to admit that I have problems keeping my mind right. Working on that. That doesn't mean I have no faith, and I still feel guilty about the muck that goes on in this brain of mind. I know I am in need of a good spiritual brainwashing.
And how I do is between me, God, and MY PASTOR.

"all people who thenk their religious "peity" geves them the rigth to harass people, mind ur damn busines!! that person gay? so whut! is it ur problem? mind ur damn busines!!" lmao brilliant. soem people who have always been in the church, start to think they are better than other people, they stop loving other people, they start judging others, and lecturing others, and trying to get people to listen to their way. its wrong, its nosy, its none of their busines. ur salvation is between u and God. how can they judge ur heart? they cant. knowing our strengthes an weakness's is the onlee way we cen werk on them!!
jus follow ur heart, an do ur best to be a gud person, God loves u an understands *blush* im far from perfect..so it wunt be me who repremands u, i hope u dunt mind me saying that tho *smiles at u* i hope i helped..? admit I do think it's best to admit our shortcomings. As a Catholic, I have the opportunity to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation to do just that!
We're all human, and we all make mistakes. Look at some of the people (the adulteress, for example) that Jesus forgave while He was on earth. Her bad choices doesn't mean that she was a bad person, and thanks to her faith, she was forgiven. Yes
You may feel it is between GOD, your pastor and you but if you are on here be prepared for others opinions and questions of how you speak and act.
You never know he may not have meant it that way but has some thoughts that are unpure himself and wondering if you as a Christian can have these unpure thoughts but still be a Chrisian and that may give him faith as well.
But then again if you felt he was being mean or condescending, he probaly was. Well, anyone that points out flaws in other people shouldn't because they have faults of their own. Christians aren't perfect either! I think Christians should admit their shortcomings though. The reason is that many Christians are labeled 'hypocrites', and they judge others too harshly. Admitting your human isn't wrong. Don't worry about that guy calling you out. I'm sure he has quirks that you could call out also. ? Perhaps you are looking too deeply. You will know in your hearts of hearts whether you are a good person, do good things, follow the golden rule, etc. Dont pay attention to everything some fanatical may say. If you feel you have done something wrong, or acted in an impure way then by all means ask for forgiveness and strive to do and be a better person. But do not let someone else tell you about yourself, you will know thy self better than any. I agree with you ,people will take your life and try to make you bend to thier ways...funny uh....not so with me .I would like to say I love my lord ,but at the same time I have my walk with him my way> Not someones elses way. I will be your friend and let you do your thing ,with god ,with others, and with me . I belieave that all of us has one road our own...
