My doorbell just rang at almost 1am???
I was just sitting here, reading some questions, and my doorbell rang. I called my husband, and he said he didn't send anyone over. He's at work, just about to get off work. I'm alone, and I won't answer the door. Would you answer if you were alone? Additional Details

I am here alone, but the house is secure. All windows and doors are locked. Have extra locks on the doors, now I'll just sit here and wait for my husband.

I did have a living room light on. I always keep it on for my husband when he gets home. Now it's off, and I haven't seen anyone through my blinds.

I knew it wasn't the cops. I wasn't making any noise. I don't have TV or music going. Nope. Something I keep handy is a flash camera [really the flash attachment will do]. Even if you're in an apt. you can put it up to the spy window, but in a home just go to a window that has a view of the door and flash away. People who are up to no good don't care to think their picture is being taken. Definitely not. yes i would answer the door At 1am? No way! I would be really scared though! Nooooo waaayy. Wait until your husband gets home. i would not answer..........that is so freaky.
are u sitting there in silence,waiting for that person to rattle your door handle? I hope your door is locked. I hope your husband gets home quick before whoever that is,gets in. Don't answer it unless you know and trust who it is. Try to get a peek at them through a window or peep hole. Unless you were making noise, the police shouldn't be knocking.
You can always just wait for your husband to come home to secure the area outside. uhmm definately not
