When we post a question should we mark it UK?!

Question:

When we post a question should we mark it UK?

i asked a question last night which was aimed at the uk and had a lot of people from outher places answer telling me off so should we mark our question UK so they now not to answer

Answers: I think we should say for anyone in the UK or US as often people ask question about shops or places that only relate to that country. And as you say can get abusive mail from people who don't live in that place, Yeah put [UK Only] beside it or no one will ever know. yepp.
mark it. I dont think it matters you still get foreigners answering There are no rules for this on Y/A but we have to suffer the yanks a few hours each day,,,I suppose if you want a UK answer only then you could start your question with "For the UK only,,,,," If you only want answers from people from the UK just say so in the question, but why would you want that anyway Yes, it's easy to forget that there's an overlap in time zones, especially in the evening. no beacuse theyre looking at all answers from different countrys Have thought the same sometimes... I think if the question is specific to UK that it would be helpful to mention this in the text of the question.. Some questions are general and country of origin would not matter... lol good idea - i asked a question about being size 12-14 and an american a hole replied and said it was obese Yes! no need i can tell by thier spelling and certain answers where a person comes from If you don't like the answers --- don't post the question!!! Oh no...don't do it!
Some of their answers are quite cute. i dont think we shuld , we dont want weirdos from elsewhere getting hold of us The only time I mark it UK is if it's about a particular British TV programme or if I want a UK answer, otherwise I don't bother. Hallelujah!
Us Aussies have the same ttrouble!
We have been discussing some things that only Australians would have any interest in or even know about in another section of yahoo answers.
BUT!!!!!!!!
Some wonderful people have been reporting us!
We love Aussies, Brits, Americans, you name it but some times, all nations have questions that they would like answered by someone a little closer to home!'
I understand completely, and Good Luck!
from an Aussie :) Good question.Ive never done it before, but will now, when i ask certain questions. Yes always ask the question when you have chosen the "UK&Ireland only" option. But still the people from US who have chosen "all English questions" can answer that. I think that is a good idea (UK)
