Rude on the train?!

Question:

Rude on the train?

I take BART, which is public transit in the California bay area. WHY is it that when the train comes to your stop, and you're ready to get out, the people who are boarding rush in and don't even leave any space for you to get out?! It's really rude but no one seems to care! Let the people getting off the train get off, and THEN board!!! You're not going to miss the train!!!!!!

Answers: I always wondered why people do that too. Drives me insane. It is rude but then again I have caught myself doing the same thing. I guess the urgency or getting to where you have to go takes over your mind. Source(s):
Mysteries of the human mind. Stand at the door with your fly open... people will move. No one cares about anyone else any more. For them, they are the only person who matters, so to them, you are in their way! The logic of letting the train empty before reloading (leaves more space, too!) doesn't occur to totally selfish individuals. this is more of a rant then a question Ignorance lies everywhere on the face of this earth. If I were you, I would not worry about it. That is rude. That happens a lot when trying to get on an elevator too. push ppl, they dont respect u, y the hell should u respect them bak? and, wut exactly was ur question? anyway, wen ppl dont elt me thru and dont give me a break, i eithr
a) kik their asz as hard as i can
or
b) do the same thing their doin 2 me but twice as bad =P im a very agressive, 'respect me and u wont die' type of person I always was really loud and would say "If you let US OFF, there's MORE SPACE for you to get ON!!"

I wan't even slightly nice about it. I usually got giggles from the bus driver or my fellow un-boarders. I never have that problem.
Then again i live in England, and apparently we're one of the most queue conscious countries lol.

When I'm getting off my train at one of the main stations [London Bridge, it's very busy most of the time] the people that are boarding the train wait on either side of the train door while we get off, and when everyone is off they board the train.
It's little things like that that make me a proud Londoner.
haha

I'm visiting the US in a few weeks, maybe I'll get to experience the public transport over there.

RQ. Being inconsiderate is part of human nature. Sometimes we just don't give a s*** about others. I know how you feel though.
