I was in the Entertainment Biz for 15 years. I met lots of musicians and ball players. About half of them were cool. One time, Buck Henry was in the club, but nobody told me. That would have been cool. I also know a Medal of Honor awardee. He's very cool.

None of them did a tenth of what my dad did.

and the second person is my sister, she's very cool indeed. I lived down the hall from a guy that everyone called "Captain." He was a retired merchant marine sailor living in the beach in Waikiki (the apartments were right on the beach.)

He told us all these great stories about the world before WWI. Everyone basically got along with each other and the "Do" was all about getting high and dancing to different kinds of music all around the world.

That was back in my caveman days. Judd Hirsch
and Elton John both customers.
And really nice people, especially Judd Hirsch. When Sammy Hagar picked me out of the crowd to sing 'Jump' with him and Van Halen on his first tour with them(5150) in 1986. It didn't last long enough. I wanted to sing more songs with them. lol Jello Biafra. Everyone under the age of 30 needs to have a listen to some spoken word albums from the Gentleman. John Lovitz at a lounge at LAX airport. He was incredibly approachable and just a great guy. We had a Bloody Mary together and chatted for about 10 minutes. A Polish fighter pilot flying souped-up Spitfires for the RAF (303 Squadron). Was chasing V-2s and when he caught up with them, came close enough to hook the wing of his plane underneath the stubby wing of the V-2 and did a roll to flip it on its back and thus confuse the gyros in it, and make it crash before it reached its target (London). Germans found out about this technique and installed a mercury switch which made the warhead explode if such a manouver was attempted. He lost his best friend when he flipped the V-2 on its back... it destroyed his Spitfire.
The most shy, retiring and modest person I met.
He had quite a number of kills before being assigned this role.
RIP, Andy, wherever you are... Jean Vincent Cher! She's unbelievably hilarious!
