Does anyone else use music as a therapeutic tool?!

Question:

Does anyone else use music as a therapeutic tool?

I love all music but my taste at any given time changes with my moods. ex. happy, any upbeat music. Sad=blues cheers me up, Angry=really hard rock like Marylin Manson lol and rap. I love spiritually, themed, un-holy-roller-type songs when I' confused, ect. ect. I seem to not listen to music sheerly for entertainment lol

Answers: music is a great tool for therapy. i love all kinds of music, especially because it helps me get through different times in my life. there are certain songs that always remind me of places and times in my years. they always bring back good memories. even the sad times remind me that i can get through anything! of course, the songs that remind me of goos times always bring a smile to my face! i do sometimes. Anytime I feel crappy I listen to music. sure do. i also play music for the same reasons Yeah, i do! Yes, i use classic music to relax Music is my way to escape from my everyday pain. I do all the time All the time. I listen to relaxing music in the car, so I'm more relaxed and less likely to drive aggressively as I sometimes do. I play classical piano, and that helps me relax. When I'm in a bad mood, I listen to hard rock music. Music is a big part of my life. i guess not because i could NEEEEEEEVER be angry enuff to listen to Manson..........i just love classic country music......call me narrow minded if you must. as human beings w/ all of our complexity we tend to make associations with anything that has an emotional basis. it seems to help us keep things in certain places that otherwise may become expressed in a more negative way. I enjoy the fact that everything has its place & that a certain song can take me there,
