Question:

Whats the most famous / interesting landmark where you live and what does it smell of?

Answers: Well, the biggest landmark by far round here is the North Sea, it's the only one that can be seen from space (the only North Eastern landmark I mean).

It smells of fish and salt ... actually, I don't know, I've always lived in a seaside town ... Sunderland so the smell has always been there, it smells like ... the sea but since it tastes salty and has lots of fish in it, I'd say it smells of salt and fish. Our Casinos...they are great, but they smell like smoke, unfortunately. The Lake Roosevelt Bridge smells vaguely of fish and motor oil. Haileybury Chapel's dome or the converted water tower which is now a home. Niether smell of anything. Sydney Harbour Bridge. It smells of metal and car fumes. http://www.alden.org/pilgrim_lore/images...
