Any one here ever do the food stamp shuffle?
About 10 years ago I lived in the ghetto,when the people got there stamps they would buy something for 5 cents with a dollar stamp and they would get 95 cents back.Ive seen people do this to get 100$ or more.
Answers: yes-when i was a kid.. yup you cant do that anymore. Now most states give out bridge cards which is like a credit card thats why now its all done with a card no more cash back I have never heard of this in my life Yes, I have, when there was that kind of stamp......then I got a job, now I've heard they don't give out nothing but a credit card like thingy and thats all.....so, there goes the food stamp shuffle. Not me! Isn't that wrong? I don't think stores give back cash anymore. never done it I guess that is why they changed it so that now you have a card instead of stamps to buy food. They caught on to the scam. But then I have heard of a new scam using the card. If you have say $200 available...you buy that amount in groceries for someone but they will only give you $100 in cash. Something like that. I have personally never done it as I need the food to feed my child but have heard of others doing it. No, but I wish I could get free food for my 7 kids.
Isn't it funny how some people work their butt off to provide food for their family while others sit on their butts and get free food that we pay taxes for?
