Here is what I will be using!!! My own recipe. Feel free to tweak it as you see fit.
Vegetarian Black Bean Soup
3 cans black beans, including juices followed by 3 cans of water(no sense wasting the juices when you rinse the cans out to recycle them!)
1-2 cans yellow sweet corn, with equal amount of water for the same reason
1 can of tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes
If necessary, add more water, leaving about 1-2 inches from top of soup pot to top of soup.
For seasoning:
generous sprinkling of garlic powder and onion powder, a few dashes of lemon pepper, a few dashes of cayenne pepper powder or a few crushed red pepper flakes, about 1-2 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp dry thyme leaves, 1 tbsp dry parsley flakes

Cook on medium heat, stirring every 10-15 minutes to prevent beans from sticking to the pot, add a cup of hot water every so often if needed. Should take about 2 hours to get to a nice consistency.

Should take about 2 hours to get to a nice consistency. i don't really like black beans...sorry=(....but if you make me some homemade alphabet soup and cut out the little letters by hand...I'll love you for ever Sure...I'll have a little steak in mine.
