their singer didnt blow his head off like a moron! this question should be illegal - you cant choose they are both classics!!! i love/loved both, but I think Nirvana paved the way for Pearl Jam. Nirvana, got a ticket for that last concert in Ireland and I bet my grandkids wont have to work any more when they sell it nirvana. cobain's lyrics never made much sense, but eddie vedder's are just too whiny.

of course nirvana wouldn't have been nearly as successful if kurt wouldn't have shot himself. pearl jam's still bogus though. Nirvana, just cause he blew off his head doesn't make his music suck PJ.. Nirvana had only 1 really good album (nevermind). Pearl Jam at least 3 (ten, vs, vitalogy) Cam! You're killing me with this one!
