Ain't this some BS? Did you know this?!

Question:

Ain't this some BS? Did you know this?

Last night me and my friend went out to buy our boyfriends and another friend of ours two cases of beer (we just wanted to sure they had plenty so they wouldn't leave to get more). Well, as you can imagine, 48 beers can be pretty heavy so I had my friend (who didn't have her ID because we didn't think she'd need it to simply run to the store real quick) help me carry a case to the counter. When we got up there I assumed they thought she was buying one case and I was buying the other because they asked to see two IDs. I smiled and said "no, I'm paying for all of it" as I went to hand my ID and my debit card over. They said "it doesn't matter. We still need to see two IDs because she carried a case up here too". I explained how she didn't have her ID, two cases was pretty heavy, and how I was of legal age to buy the alcohol. They placed BOTH CASES behind the counter and said "oh well. We can't sell it to you if you can't prove she's 21". WTF?! What if I'd gotten some random 18-year-old

To help carry it? Apparently some one can’t buy beer if someone who can’t prove their age helps carry it. Needless to say, I was quite ticked. Such a load of BS! Don’t you agree?

Answers:

This happened to me before but instead it was my boyfriend and he just happened to be with me. He didn't touch the beer at all and it was only a six pack.

Yet if an older man and his son were to walk in there, the older man would be able to buy beer. How can they be so sure that older man isn't giving the kid beer or not?

It pissed me off but I just went across the street and got it...haha
