the aim of advertisements is to drill themselves into our brains and psychy, like unwanted maggots.
They don't care how annoying or obtrusive the adverts are, as long as they are noticed and noted in the subconsciousness.
The advertisement you mention is a load of cr@p anyway. No one who works in a supermarket is that jovial anyway. Why should they be. On minimum wage etc.
