Home or public?
i have the choice to do home or public school forhigh school. if this was your choice, what would you choose?
Answers:
Is there a reason other than the educational aspect of it at play here (as in a medical reason why)?
If you're ok and feel u can take the public HS "heat"..go for a public one. It will teach you abt real life, with ups, downs, mean people, good people, popular people, shy people..
IMO, home schooling simply gives a false sense of the world to a kid. At home you are pampered, sheltered, the focus of all attention, can do whatever u want...that's not real world!
And the sooner you learn to stand on your feet and develop ways to deal with the mean/bad/good/awsome people..the better!
Why wouldn't you want to go to school with kids your age...that you could have common interest with-go to movies, shopping, play sports etc..?
Just as others have said before, if there are other issues here-such as hard to socialize and make friends etc- talk to your family, see what they say. It's YOUR decision to make -no one here can make it for you. What abt private HS? Or public HS in a very good community, where you wouldn't have to worry so much about weird people/gangs/drugs or younameit.
