Is Sum 41 the new Blink-182?!

Is Sum 41 the new Blink-182?
its a question thats running through my mind. also, does anyone know if fish sleep? haha just something random. but anyways back to sum 41 and blink-182. we all know blink-182 went their seperate ways, but if we dont have them, what do we have. +44 is alright but its missing TOM DELONGE. Sum 41 on the other hand has been out there for a while too and around 2000 both bands were making a huge impression on the public. blink-182 came out with "enema of the state" and "take off your pants and jacket" in 1999 and 2001 while sum 41 came out with "half hour of power" and "all killer no filler." all i wanna know is if Sum 41 is now the top skate-punk band or is it just not hitting it up there like Blink-182 was back in the day. This question would easiest be answered by skaters or even non-skaters that listen to both Sum 41 and Blink-182 :)

I think on the popularity side of things, Blink182 beat Sum 41. Dont get me wrong, theyre both awesome bands but I think that since Blink 182 was around first, they have seniority.
On the other hand... Plus 44 shuld never have happened, the only way personally Id get into them is if Tom joined the band, and they re-united under the new name.
