my friend is so sarcastic.....i find it is hard to make her believe that world is not such a bad place after all
Answers:
maybe your friend doesn't realize she's being sarcastic because maybe her entire family talks like that, maybe they have fun that way, or maybe it's like a oneupmanship with them, and maybe she learned that a long time ago but it's just now that you're realizing it's toxic. Why not mention it to her and ask her why she's so down on the world and if she knows she's doing it. Tell her it affects you and you'll have to see her less then and does she mind if you see her less. At that point you'd better be willing and able to put your money where your mouth is (so to speak) and walk off and find a new friend or be prepared to be alone until you do.
You say you two have been friends but only one person can't be sarcastic without the other chiming in. So maybe start with you and check yourself out first.
