USA: why do we support prisoners (rapists, killers) for the rest of their lives !

USA: why do we support prisoners (rapists, killers) for the rest of their lives and not our war veterans?

maybe homeless vets will have to start killing and robbing to get room and board! what's wrong with society today????

As a veteran myself I totally agree with you . I've been one of the fortunate to receive care , I'm from an earlier era than the Iraqi vets who seem to be really getting a raw deal under the current administration and it is just so , so wrong I could scream . After the Vietnam war more vets committed suicide than died in the war , there is great concern that pattern may well continue since we seem to be putting forth more humanitarian efforts to help the Iraqi people than our own soldiers . With the extended tours of duty and returning soldiers who have already put their lives on the line once it will continue to get worse . Our veterans are dealing with such low life people also as you mention that are in our prison system at home and seeing them prosecuted for not playing nice ,nice with them is a total outrage . The Commander in Chief is where the buck should stop but it's now where it begins ! He should be held fully accountable for the suffering of these veterans not getting proper care and removed from office yesterday really ! How can we back a man who said mission accomplished ? No mission is accomplished under these circumstances !
