Do you check out your receipts after buying something?

I have found so many errors!

definitely, but only at home (when it's too late). I'm learning though.

One time I got overcharged by $15 (late in the evening at a copying place) and called them and they had to write me a check (when what I needed my cash back).

I also like to compare prices at the same store from one time to another (how much the cost increases), and compare one store to another, and one year to another. They get tired of hearing from me but I've gotten things cleared up, and that's what counts. Here recently they've charged three times for batteries than what the same price in electricity would cost.

Did you know grocery stores have automated marketing and that if you buy 3 or 4 of a product they think the product is selling well so the next time you go to buy there the price has risen because they think they will make more money since more people are buying it? grrr

Several times already the clerks at the checkout have been so slow that either I get the last person's stuff or find my stuff missing and figured the person behind me got my stuff.

And, one time I told the guy in front of me that it's ok if he pays for my stuff and winked at him and said thanks.
