What not to say to a cop?

Oh Gee, there were soo many little friendly comments that could turn a warning into a cavity search, lets see if I can remember the primo ones...
"I pay your salary" always met with, I want a raise!
"Do you know who I am, my daddy is, my mom is..blah blah" Nope and if you don't, then I need to test you for alcohol and drugs.
"Your just hassling me because I am, Mexican, black, Indian male....." nope, I'm hassling you because your felony stupid.
"Why don't you get a real job?" well where else could I meet such wonderful people?
"Whats a matter, you have a fight with your girlfriend G.I Jane?" Well, I consider the G.I. Jane comment a compliment, after all that beeyach was in shape! and as for my girlfriend, no, she knows when to keep her mouth shut, much like my husband.
And now we know why I left law enforcement...my desire to correct poor manners was starting to override my officer training.
Just remember, they are doing a job that is underpaid, under appreciated and full of stress., and they have a lot of latitude on how to deal with you, so discretion and civility are the better parts of valor.
