How do you...?

I don't know where else to ask the question so I came here. How do you get a picture where your avatar is? . I can't get an avatar because you need that flashplayer and that messes up my computer. How do you get a picture from the internet where the avatar would be?

It always asks for a flash player when I go to the avatar website.

When I go to the Avatar site it says "We're sorry, Yahoo! Avatars requires the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player"

I don't want an avatar, I just want a picture. You know how some people have real pictures of themselves, some people have a picture of Scooby Doo (bad example) or a picture of a flower? I want a picture from the internet.

go to your profile page (click on your gray picture) and click "edit profile" then click "show avatar"
