Yes. When I was going through my teen party days - I went through a phase in my life where I was using drugs on a regular basis (a social thing) for the most part - I was up for weeks on end. Even after staying up for a day or two with no rest, your body starts to feel drained, your mind and eyes start to play tricks on you.
I remember one time I was up for almost a month, I thought I was hearing things that weren't there, and I thought I saw skeletons outside my window.
Thankfully I grew out of that stage and no longer use drugs.
When I was younger, I stayed up for an entire day once, watching cartoons - I just couldn't fall asleep.
Today, I take a sleeping pill from the prior drug usage because I have a hard time sleeping. My body got accustomed to staying up at night, so I could never ever get to sleep, and when I do, it's a toss and turn situation. The sleeping pill has worked wonders for me - however, when I don't take it, I can stay up all night - which is a horrid feeling.
I LOVE SLEEPING.
