Ok, I was born in Rome, Italy and stayed there until the age of 10. After that my father moved to Africa (Comoro Islands) for working reasons and my parents got divorced so my sister and I were traveling between Italy and Comores. When I was 13 my mother started traveling because of her job and we followed her. We lived in Thailand, Kenia and Chad (while visiting my father in Africa all the same). During this time we attended French school because there was no Italian school. I went back to Italy to attend University (Biology and Biochemistry). After graduation I spent another year or so as Diploma student in Italy, then I was admitted to a PhD course, which I started in Rome but finished in France because of a collaboration. After obtaining my PhD, I left France to go to Scotland, UK, where I worked as a post-doctoral researcher for 7 years, met the man of my life and made lots of friends. When the time came, we decided to move back to Europe and found a job in Austria, Vienna (my partner is also a scientist). And here we are - living happily in Austria with our pet Kathryna.
A bit of a boring life, really.....
