Why are the POLL lot so rude?!

Why are the POLL lot so rude?

When Im in the voting undecided questions section,in the Poll and surveys part,why does everyone just vote for the first answer?Why dont they bother reading all the answers , and voting on the best one (like I do ).Its encouraging rubbishy one line answers no ?

OOps , yes there are other votes for other answers , Im not saying that everyone is doing it

Dolores,by going through lots of different votes on different questions,the evidence strikingly suggests that its true.So I do know what other people are doing, thank you.

I agree i have been thinking the same thing myself.One of the problems I believe is that in some instances there are too many answers and you don't always want to read through them all.Also some answers are too long and technical.Another reason could be that some people may be trying to get a lot of points quickly and by choosing questions with not many answers and voting on the first one they can get through a lot in a short space of time. I actually think that the points system could be improved to eradicate a lot of the unfairness that goes on.I don't know how but I'm sure if the experts got together they could come up with a better system.I do have one suggestion, a panel to chose the best ten for people to vote on,perhaps,more people would be honest then when voting.Also it would be better if more people picked the answer to their own question.
