Is it reasonable to want and expect those (who You visit and phone) to phone and visit you.....?

and what can, (or should) You do...if they dont?

or must you accept that they are merely aquaintances and not friends, if they seem to hold your friendship in such low regard, that they cant be bothered to visit you or keep in touch?

That`s a one way friendship and it doesn`t work because you feel like your company or chats aren`t valued enough to be returned. I`d consider these type of people only as acquaintances.
