Why are my tastes in music so conflicting?!
Question: Why are my tastes in music so conflicting!?
I am wondering why I listen to such completely different music, I love some of the more powerful pieces of classical!. but then on the other end i love listening to artists like Dream Theater, which is completely different as it is Prog Metal!. And i can't stand today's mainstream music it just makes me angry for people to listen to something so ridiculously basic!.

the answer to your question is you're eclectic!. it means selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas!. im the same way i have a collection of music from beethoven to slipknot!. dont be pidgeon holed like what you want and don't worry about what anyone else thinks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seriously, I have the most random taste in music, I love Indie, Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Slow jamz, Soul, Nasheeds, Asian music, Reggaeton!.!.!.seriously, it shows musical diversity!.!.!.

You're not a freak at all!. I hate mainstream stuff too, no talent involved, nor creativity!. And your musical tastes aren't strange, classical actually has a LOT of influence in metal!. Just listen to some melodic death metal stuff and you'll hear it more!.
