i use my marshal for everything i am more than happy with it!.!. fender amps are good for a clean sound, line 6 has a lot of built in affects, good distortion but clean sounds like garbage, vox is more of a kinda classic rock sound i dont know how to describe it!.!. but in my opinion i like marshall the bestWww@Enter-QA@Com
well first of all, my fave is marshall, i own a jcm800kk sig, but every marshall amp is stuited much towards having an awesome distortion, and killer cleans!.There are many marshall amps to choose from , depending on ur style there is an amp to fit it!. BUT! some of the lower end marshalls sounds really bad(because they r not tube amps) but then again u get what u pay for, as far as fender amps go, forget about distortion, its next to impossible to get any distortion from these amps without a pedal , thay are baasically made for blues and clean stuff,vox is pretty simmilar to fender , i havent playd 1 for long, but line six is quite good (especially the spider3) its has tones of presets and has one of the best distortions on a "non stack" amp, but the clean isnt the best but with some tweaking this can be overcome
