Question: What do you guys think of this classical piece I composed!?
I composed a brief segment of a song!.!.!.!.just needed some opinions from fellow musicians, and/or suggestions for what I may add to it!. I'm hoping to find some good critics here!.!.!.!.I submitted it to a forum and got no response!.!.!.:(
also, this piece is only a small excerpt from the song!. The whole thing may be about five minutes long when finished!.

wow that's pretty sweet! But the melody does need to be a tad louder but I like that you need to listen past the drums!. I also think the rhythm needs to change a little even in that short time the song sounded like it was just a little repetitive!. You really have something here! You seem to only have the "germ" of an idea for a composition: not complete enough to be a real idea for one!.
You should listen to Debussy's "La Mer"(the sea): the first portion of your link sounds like almost an exact replica!.
Although the last few seconds, the ending, showed a sparkle of ingenuity, the piece as a whole sounded very repetitive to me; and I'm sorry, but for the most part very uninteresting!.

Wow!. Just- wow!. Very impressive- I would say that it's more fitting as a film score!. The epic and upbeat percussion line should come in pretty loud, but then quiet down quite a significant bit once the melody line comes in!.!.!. The theme of the song is very good, as well as the melodies!. Nice work, keep it up, and teach me how to do that! XDWww@Enter-QA@Com
I am known as a crabby critic,but your stuff is not bad, from what I heard between my dial-up bufferings!. It gave me the image of people on horseback on their way somewhere, in some yonder magical, sword carrying time!.

the melody needs to be louder because that drum beat is overpowering it :P
