I have mixed emotions on this issue!.
He has epic moments and not so good moments with Sepul
same goes for Soulfly
same for Cavalera Conspiracy
But I don't recall any weakness in Nailbomb!. So even tho they are not my favorite Max project I will have to go with Nailbomb!. Dino Cazares also has some epic playing in that project with Max as a guest!. Dino has been a guest of max's on a couple of his projects Sepultura and Soulfly!. They have been pretty good friends for a very long time!.

His work with Igor and the boys is some of the best Thrash/Death Metal ever made!.
Morbid Visions through Roots is all amazing metal!. And Sepultura, being from Brazil, could always incorporate an interesting cultural twist into their lyrics and music, which always made for fun, fast-paced metal!.
I really respect Max Cavalera as a musician, and he ranks pretty high on my list of All-time Metal Musicians!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
