It wasn't that bad
Pros: Tha Carter 3, Paper Trail, Jay-Z came back from his so-called retirement, Cassidy came back, Nas stood up to Fox News, 50 retires
Con: No 2pac or Biggie posthumous album, Soulja Boy is still trying to rap and working on another album, Too many untalented new rappers

2008 was a good year for hip-hop!.
2009 should be good too!.
A lot of pretty good albums came out this year and a lot are supposed to come out next year!.
If someone doesn't like GZA, it doesn't mean they're "too dumb" for him, it might just mean that they don't like his music!.
There's no written rule that says "you have to like *this artist* and if you like *that artist*, you don't know anything about hip-hop!.

WuTangs 8 diagrams was HORRIBLE! I never thought I would say that about a Wu album!. Although there were some great underground albums that came out this year!. Aesop Rocks "None Shall Pass" is one of the best albums I've listened to in a long time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

^^^ its a natural cycle man!. its kinda like parents who tell their kids meaningful advice and their kids going "ha! what do you know!?" and then later in life going "damn, i shoulda listened to you!." all these kids doing the supaman dance or w/e the **** its called and sucking lil wayne's shrunken balls will probably be embarrassed to say they liked these artists in a few years

Ha! it was not Hip Hops worst year by far!. Name ALL the bad albums you HAD to listen to on the radio and I can name more that you coulda DLd onto ur IPod and been fine!.
